Brady's Appeal Hearing Concludes

fter nearly 11 hours, Tom Brady had his appeal hearing conclude Tuesday evening, as the star quarterback made his case over his suspension.

width=The hearing on "Deflategate" took place at NFL headquarters and came before commissioner Roger Goodell. Brady was joined by attorney Jeffrey Kessler.

No word was forthcoming about when a decision would be made regarding a possible reduction in Brady's four-game suspension that was handed out May 11. No further hearings are scheduled.

The NFL Network reported Brady's team was given four hours to present its case, but the procedure lasted much longer.

The star New England Patriots quarterback was implicated in the Wells report investigating deflated balls in the AFC Championship Game.

The Patriots were also fined $1 million and docked two draft picks. The punishment was announced five days after the release of the long-awaited Wells report, which detailed what it called a "deliberate effort" by two Patriots employees to release air from footballs prior to the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts in January.
