DeWitt County Habitat For Humanity Prepares Next Home

The DeWitt County chapter of Habitat For Humanity is diving head first into their next home and one of their leaders says organizing the build on this home is much smoother.

Norman Emery is part of the Habitat Board in DeWitt County. He explains they have a foundation prepared and are nearly ready to get the sides of the homes up.

Emery says in the past, getting their homes built has taken a lot of time and resources to finish. He feels they are being more proactive this year to get the home built in a smooth, and timely fashion.

According to Emery, having relationships with contractors in the community is something they can never take for granted. He says it is vital they make their appreciation known for the things they do with them.
