The push is on. Not for a budget compromise at the Statehouse but rather for Democrats to make an end around the Governor and his budget veto’s.

Senate Democrats are meeting today to see what they are willing to do when it comes to breaking the budget stalemate. The Senate might act but it’s unclear if the House would be ready to follow their lead.

The Senate and House can still pass the budget they approved this spring, they have enough members of the party to override a veto with a 3/5 majority vote.
