A Clinton man was recently named AM-Vet of the Year for the State of Illinois.
Darrel Tucker with the Clinton Post 14 was named AM-Vet of the Year for the work he does around the community and the state. He says the award meant a great deal to him because of the mission and goal of the AM-Vets organization.
According to Clinton AM-Vets Post 14 Leader Jesse Owens, Tucker receiving the award was much deserved. Owens explains they made the nomination and felt as though Tucker's work in the community more than speaks for his dedication to the organization.
