Cullerton Wants Rauner To Know Politics of Illinois

The Governor’s Turn Around agenda seems stuck in political mud. Bruce Rauner says he wants issues like property tax and workers comp reform to be taken up and approved before he will sit down and work on a budget with Democrats that perhaps includes with additional revenue. But state house leaders are saying the Governor is extreme and out of touch with the state he is governing.

Senate President John Cullerton says Rauner, who almost lost a primary because of anti-union stances needs to appreciate the politics of Illinois.
