Is the Governor being open and transparent with whom he’s meeting with and when?
A report from the Chicago Reader leads you to believe that he isn’t living up to a campaign promise to be transparent and accountable. The publication recently submitted a Freedom of Information Request for the Governor’s daily schedule and names of people he was meeting with in public buildings on public time. But his office sent the Chicago Reader a list of appointments with more than 150 names blacked out. The Governor says that he is open and doing more than is required of him.

According to the Chicago Reader, Rauner’s legal team has cited attorney client privilege in redacting the names of individuals who are meeting with the Governor.
