Number of people visiting Illinois last year increased by 3.5%

More Than 109 Million People Visited Illinois In 2014…The Fourth Year In A Row Tourism Has Grown Here. That’s Generated Nearly Three Billion Dollars In Sales Taxes And Thousands Of Jobs. Illinois Office Of Tourism Director Cory Jobe Says They Want To Keep That Momentum Going.

Jobe Says They Will Continue To Promote Illinois Tourism With A New Leisure And Travel Magazine That Will Go Out Twice A Year, Along With An Online Edition That Is Updated Every Month. Jobe Says They Will Also Launch A “made In Illinois” Marketing Campaign Promoting Artists, Craftsmen And Entrepreneurs.
