With school starting in the next week for many districts, a local attraction is adjusting their hours to accommodate their staff.

Ken Frye is the Director of the Scovill Zoo in Decatur, he indicates they will be going to their fall hours this week. This summer, the zoo has opened earlier than in year's past, and that early open will remain in effect.

Frye indicates a lot of their staff will be headed back to school this fall, thus the change in their hours in late August.

The Scovill Zoo is gearing up this week for their biggest event of the year, their "Zoo-rific Evening" Gala this Saturday. Frye says the Saturday event draws several hundred guests.
