Superintendent of Clinton Schools Curt Nettles has been nominated and appointed to a position on the State Educators Preparations and Licensure Board.

According to Nettles, he will represent district administrators in a number of capacities.

Nettles initially didn't think it was a big deal but is honored by the compliments he has received. He feels the role of the Board is very important and plans to take it very seriously.

Being on the Board will require Nettles to travel to Springfield once a month and may require some prep work prior to those gatherings.
