The Clinton Maroons open Central Illinois Conference play tonight and come into their matchup with Shelbyville 2-0.

The Maroons have used two convincing victories over Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland and Fithian-Oakwood-Armstrong-Potomac and have combined for 108 total points. That is tops in the CIC.

For Shelbyville, the Rams also come into play 2-0 with wins over Pawnee and Rantoul. The Rams were a 7-3 playoff team in 2014.
