The Governor’s administration is responding to criticism of closing down several state facilities while workers continue to show up to work. Illinois News Network has more:

Despite being closed to the public beginning Thursday, nearly 50 curators and educators at the Illinois State Museum will continue their work with museum’s collections as well as scientific research. That’s according to a spokesperson with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources which oversees the main Springfield branch and other locations throughout the state.
