For the first time since last September, Greg Hardy will play in an NFL game. Now a member of the Cowboys, Hardy finished serving his four-game suspension after missing nearly all of last season on the Commissioner's Exempt List due to a domestic violence incident.
On Sunday, Hardy will be tasked with hunting down Tom Brady as the 2-2 Cowboys host the 3-0 Patriots.
Hardy said via USA Today quote - "I hope I come out guns blazing. I'm very excited to get out there and see what I can do."
Prior to joining the Cowboys, Hardy was a standout with the Panthers, recording 26 sacks over the 2012 and 2013 seasons. But in the summer of 2014, Hardy was found guilty of assault and communicating threats in a case that involved an ex-girlfriend. Hardy appealed the decision and, in February, the charges were dismissed when the woman -- who accused Hardy of throwing her on a futon filled with guns and threatening to kill her, per NFL.com -- couldn't be found, as she had reached a civil suit agreement with Hardy.
Hardy was suspended 10 games by the NFL, but an independent arbitrator reduced that suspension to four games, meaning he'll be suiting up on Sunday.
