Drive One For Your School Starts Today

width=The Clinton Athletic Boosters and Anderson Ford in Clinton are teaming up for their annual Drive One For Your School fundraiser.

According to President of the Clinton Athletic Boosters Brian Ennis and Clinton Board of Education member, John Blythe, the test drive is a 100-percent pressure free atmosphere driving a Ford vehicle and in turn, Ford makes a donation back to the Athletic Boosters.

The Booster Club stands to gain $6-thousand from this year's drive. Ennis explains if 100 administrators, faculty, or schoo board members of the Clinton district take a test drive, owner Randy Anderson will add his own bonus to the figure.

According to Ennis, the Booster Club has been very supportive of both junior high and high school sports programs in recent years, so for them, this event will be about replenishing their funds.

This will be the sixth year for the Drive One for Your School. Blythe stresses this money comes from the Fords Motor Company and essentially calls the event a chance at "free money".

Ennis thanks Anderson and his staff for the time they dedicate to making the event a success and invites the entire community out Friday and Saturday for a test drive.

Test drives can be taken Friday from 9 am to 6 pm then again Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
