Former USC Coach Tweets Thanks For Support

 width=It's been a long few days for Steve Sarkisian, but on Wednesday evening he took to Twitter to speak publicy for the first time since his dismissal at USC.

Sarkisian sent out three tweets, thanking people for their support, and wishing the Trojans luck against Notre Dame this week.

"I would like to thank everyone for their huge outpouring of support and well wishes. This is a very difficult time for my family and me. I am facing these challenges the best I can and your support helps immensely. I wish my Trojans the best against Notre Dame and for the remainder of the season. No one will be cheering them on more than me. Fight On!"

Sarkisian was fired on Monday, a day after being placed on an indefinite leave of absence.

He was in his second season at USC, and had a record of 12-6.
