It was a day that surpassed expectations.

That's the message from organizers of a collaborative effort between the Clinton YMCA and Baum Chevrolet Buick in Clinton. Lindsay Campbell with Baum Chevy Buick indicates 20 minutes into the drive, they had reached their goal of 25.

Rob Deleon with the Clinton Y calls the partnership with Baum a blessing. He says the money donated helps to subsidize the funds they put back into scholarships for their kids and for the supplies need to operate their programs.

Those who took test drives Wednesday afternoon were able to check out a Chevy Camaro, Chevy Equinox, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Colorado, and a full sized Chevy Silverado.
