If you're looking to get a head start on your Halloween celebrations, you'll want to be sure and check out the Miller Park Zoo's annual, Spooktacular event this Sunday.

Superintendent of the Miller Park Zoo, Jay Tetzloff indicates this event is easily their best attended of the year. He explains they encourages kids, and adults, to dress up and come out and spend some time at the zoo on Sunday.

Because of the popularity of the event, Tetzloff encourages those attending to arrive early. He says their attendance jumps exponentially before the event to during the event.

There will be a costume parade that starts at 2:30 pm.

Zoo Spooktacular starts at noon and goes until 3pm. It is free with a paid admission to the zoo.
