CHS, CJHS Bands To Perform Together Friday

 width=The Clinton High School Marching Band will wrap up their season tonight with a final performance at tonight's Clinton High School football games.

Band Director Nathan Wheeler indicates this year's show is to the music of the popular James Bond movies. He explains tonight, the Clinton Junior High band will join them on the field and with the addition of the junior high band, the two will add to their musical selections.

Having the junior high band join the high school band tonight is something special for Wheeler and he hopes it gets the band students in junior high students a taste of what it will be like to perform in front of the Clinton High School crowds.

The Clinton High School Band has been working on this year's show since May. Wheeler explains that is when they got their music, to start learning it, and a few weeks before the school year, they begin to work on their marching routine.

Wheeler is in his second year at the helm of the Clinton High School band program.

The Maroons host the Sullivan Redskins for their final home game of the season. At 4-4, the Maroons need a win to give themselves a chance at the playoffs.
