One of the biggest questions going into tonight's IHSA Football pairings was if the Clinton Maroons would end their 11 year playoff drought.  After Friday night's come from behind win over Sullivan, the Maroons became playoff eligible with a 5-4 overall record.  Just after 5p Saturday, the IHSA posted the list of the 256 teams that have qualified for this years playoffs.  The Clinton Maroons are in!  

Clinton's 35 playoff points (based off of opponent's wins) tied them with 5 other 5-4 teams across the state.  The next tiebreaker used by the IHSA is "Defeated Opponent's Wins."  Clinton's 10 in that category put them slightly ahead of Toledo's 8, and secured the Maroons the final spot in the 256 team field.

The actual pairings for the 2015 IHSA Playoffs will be released beginning at 8p.
