Illinois State, Eastern Illinois Win; Illini Lose

Marshaun Coprich ran for 206 yards and two scores as Illinois State defeated Western Illinois 48-28 on Saturday.

Coprich's 83-yard romp_the longest of his career- with 5:40 remaining sealed the win for the Redbirds (6-1, 4-0 Missouri Valley Conference). Coprich might have scored again earlier in the fourth, but the Leathernecks' Brett Taylor forced him to fumble at the goal line. The ball bounced directly into the hands of Illinois State's Anthony Warrum in the end zone for the score.

Warrum finished with 170 yards receiving on four catches and a receiving touchdown.

Western Illinois (4-3, 3-1) led once when Devon Moore ran for a 10-yard score to put the Leathernecks up 28-21 with 8:25 left in the third quarter.

Tre Roberson threw for 211 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Redbirds.

The Leathernecks' Trenton Norvell was 27 of 47 for 313 yards passing with two touchdowns.

 width=Bart Houston came off the bench to throw for 232 yards and two touchdowns, and Wisconsin beat Illinois 24-13 on Saturday.

Wisconsin starting quarterback Joel Stave left the game late in the first quarter with a head injury. But the Badgers (6-2, 3-1 Big Ten) didn't miss a beat with Houston.

The junior found his favorite target, Alex Erickson, for a 9-yard touchdown with 9:42 left in the game to give Wisconsin a 24-13 lead and effectively put the game away.

Erickson led the Badgers in receiving with 10 catches for 96 yards and had four rushes for 81 yards.

Wes Lunt had 278 yards passing with one interception for Illinois (4-3, 1-2).

The Badgers also lost starting center Dan Voltz in the second half with a leg injury.

 width=Jalen Whitlow threw for 160 yards and a touchdown as Eastern Illinois rolled over Tennessee Tech 51-20 on Saturday.

Malik Harrison ran for 123 yards and a score and Shepard Little added a pair of rushing touchdowns for the Panthers (4-3, 4-0 Ohio Valley Conference).

Whitlow threw a 16-yard scoring pass to James Brooks late in the second quarter to help Eastern Illinois to a 17-10 halftime lead.

Devin Church ran for a touchdown early in the second half and Little scored on a 12-yard run, stretching the Panthers' lead to 31-13 with a minute left in the third quarter.

In the fourth quarter, Jarvis Williams scored on a 24-yard interception return and backup QB Austin Green hit Paul Gossage from 33 yards to make it 44-13. Harrison's 83-yard touchdown run with 2:40 to play sealed the win.

Colby Brown had 115 yards passing for the Golden Eagles (2-6, 1-4).
