Generally a 5-4 mark will barely get teams into the high school football post season, however, one school feels their 5-4 mark is not indicative of how good of a team they are.
The Cerro Gordo-Bement Broncos played a schedule that featured six of their nine opponents that are in the playoffs. Head Coach Andy Kerley says they've taken on a mindset of, any team, any time.

For many coaches the appeal of the playoffs is matching up with teams you normally wouldn't see and getting a different look by playing on Saturday afternoons, however, Coach Kerley isn't necessarily disappointed by the fact they drew a Little Okaw Valley opponent.

Cerro Gordo Bement and Sangamon Valley will kick off at 7 pm on Friday night.
Coach Kerley says his group has been very healthy all year and that run of good luck has carried into the postseason.
