Illinois Apple Crop Very Good

While the wet spring this year caused some problems for a lot of farmers in Illinois, it was great for the apple crop. Chris Curtis is the owner of Curtis Orchard in Champaign county.

The wet weather in the first half of the growing season did cause some disease problems with the pumpkin crop, but there are still plenty of pumpkins left for Halloween and Thanksgiving this year.

As more consumers are interested in buying locally grown foods, there is no better way to buy local than watch it picked right off the tree
