Illinois’ Governor is revealing what he wants on the agenda for a meeting he’s called for himself and legislative leaders next month.

Governor Bruce Rauner says he wants structural reform, revenue and taxes, spending levels and more saying it’s going to a comprehensive agenda. As for how productive the meeting will be if the press has access, the Governor seems a bit skeptical compromise can be reached in front of TV cameras.

A group of civic organizations that pushed for the public meeting later said the agenda needs to be partisan. The meeting is scheduled for November 18th in either Chicago or Springfield. Speaker Michael Madigan’s office says they are awaiting to see the agenda before committing to attend.
