Congressman Davis to Serve on Committee to Reform Chairmanships

Congressman Rodney Davis has been asked to serve on a special committee by newly appointed Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan.

Davis explains he is well qualified to serve on the committee based on his years as a staffer in Washington and feels reforms are necessary.

The Committee will seek to change how the heads of the various committees are selected. According to Davis, legislating in Washington is not as open and he notes Speaker Ryan wants to change that.

Other members of the committee include House Majority LeaderKevin McCarthy of California, republicans Richard Hudson and Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, Bob Goodlatte and Morgan Griffith of Virginia, Bill Flores of Texas, and Luke Messer of Inidana.
