Former WHOW On-Air Musician Dies

 width=A former WHOW on-air musician in the 50's and 60's has died. Joby Singer died November 3rd at the age of 78 in Pontiac.

He and his wife Margie, performed country and western music on WHOW in the 50's and 60's. He was known on the air as "Little Joe."

Joby and Margie were on-air guests during WHOW's 60th anniversary show in the spring of 2008, and told host Wayne R. Miller that he began singing on WHOW in 1956.

Joby Singer's wife Margie passed away in September of last year.
