An IHSA by-law proposal would reduce the number of summer contact days between coaches and student athletes.
Currently 25 days are allowed, but Briant Kelly of Libertyville High School wants to lower that to 20 day.

The issue has been discussed at town hall meetings throughout the state this month. The IHSA Legislative Commission will determine next week if the proposal goes to the general membership for a vote.
