The filing period for established party candidates to get onto the March primary ballot begins this week, and the State Board of Elections has new computers to help with the work. However, those computers haven’t been paid for.

Filing deadline for Republicans and Democrats to get on the March 15 primary ballot runs now through 5 p.m. November 30th. Non-established parties can begin circulating petitions no earlier than March 29th with the filing deadline June 27th.
