Late Maroons Rally Falls Short Against Prairie Central

 width=Despite a late second half rally, the Clinton Maroons boys basketball team fell short against Prairie Central 39-38 Monday night at the GCMS Holiday tournament.

After trailing by rallying from seven down heading into the fourth quarter, the Maroons had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but fell short.

Jacob Overton led the Maroons with 14 points. Peyton McCubbin added 10 and Austin Baker had eight points.

Tom Shafer led Prairie Central with 17.

The Maroons are back at the GCMS holiday tournament tonight at 8 pm taking on host GCMS.
