CrimeStoppers Crime of the Week

The Clinton Police Department is seeking your help and information in solving a residential burglary.

On or around November 24th 2015, the Clinton Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary that occurred in the 600 block of Kleeman Drive.

During this burglary, suspect or suspects forcibly made entry to the residence, and once inside stole a woman’s silver infinity bracelet.

Also stolen during the commission of this burglary was an original Colt AR15 semi-automatic carbine assault rifle. This particular rifle has a collapsible stock and a bayonet. Several magazines containing a large amount of ammunition were also taken.

The Clinton Police Department is reminding the public to be extra vigilant to inventory all of their valuables and document serial numbers of items.

Crimestoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1000.00 when a felony arrest is made as a result of information that you have provided. Anyone with any information regarding this burglary or any other crimes or wanted fugitives is asked to contact the Clinton Area Crime stoppers at 217-935-3333.
