width=Quarterback Peyton Roop ran for two touchdowns in leading unbeaten Tri-Valley dominated to a 41-8 victory over Auburn for the school's first Illinois Class 2A championship.

The Vikings (14-0) held Auburn (10-4) to 178 yards while piling up 328 yards, all but 3 on the ground.

Roop's second touchdown in the third quarter made it 41-0.

Auburn averted a shutout with Ryan McLaughlin's 5-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.
