Christmas Safety Tips

 width=It's the week of Christmas, which means the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is sure to intensify as people get those last minute Christmas gifts and hit the roads for their holiday destinations.

Whether you still have Christmas shopping to get in or your family is hitting the road for your yearly traditions, Clinton Police Chief Ben Lowers hopes as you are on the roads to be patient and practice caution.

Chief Lowers indicates this is a big time of year for burglaries. He says your garbage can actually be an attraction to burglars.

Obviously the new year comes next week and the Chief has several tips for what is one of the more deadly weekends of the year.
