Those persistent rains today have caused the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Warning as heavy flooding has been reported on Route 10 between Clinton and Hallsville.

Barnett also indicates there have been reports of power lines down, and those lines have been reported as live. She indicates with the strong winds combined with the heavy rains, there could be the possibility of power outages.

She encourages residents who come across flooded roads to contact the non-emergency line for CENCOM at 935-3196. For power outages, contact your utility provider.
