Erik Haula broke a third-period tie, Devan Dubnyk made 33 saves and the Minnesota Wild beat the St. Louis Blues 3-1 Thursday night.
Nino Niederreiter and Thomas Vanek also scored to help the Wild start a four-game trip with just their sixth road win of the season.
Vladimir Tarasenko, the Blues' leading scorer, sat with a stomach ailment. St. Louis had won seven of its previous eight home games against Minnesota.
Haula scored his third goal of the season and first since Nov. 10, a span of 18 games. He converted from a bad angle on the right side, slipping the puck past Jake Allen with 8:32 left in the third period for a 2-1 lead.
Vanek added an empty net goal with 1:37 left.
Dubnyk won his second start in a row. He made 29 saves in a 3-1 win over Detroit on Monday night.
Niederreiter tied the game by jumping on the rebound of a shot by Justin Fontaine late in the second period. Allen made a kick save, but the puck went right to Niederreiter, who tallied his eighth goal of the season.
Defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk gave the Blues a 1-0 lead earlier in the period with a power-play goal. Shattenkirk took a cross-ice pass from Alexander Steen, skated into the faceoff circle, and drilled a hard wrist shot into the upper-right hand corner past Dubnyk. Shattenkirk has seven goals and 16 assists in his last 24 games.
