Presidential Candidates File For Illinois Primary

Wednesday was the deadline for candidates seeking to get on the ballot for the Illinois Primary.

Hillary Clinton's effort to win in her native state is now a little more difficult. A team of Bernie Sanders supporters turned up at the deadline to turn in his nominating petition for the March 15th vote. Bernie supporters rallied and say he's an agent of change.

Martin O'Malley filed in the Democratic field on Tuesday. On the Republican side, Marco Rubio drew scrutiny when he filed to enter the race on Monday, but didn't provide any delegates.

That changed in the final hour as Rubio turned in his delegate slate to the State Board of Elections.
