If one of your new year's resolutions was to help out local non-profit groups more, there is a simple way to do so for one local non-profit.

The Clinton Community Educational Foundation, or CCEF, is now a certified beneficiary of a program to benefit non-profit organizations through Amazon. The program is called Amazon Smile and according to Ruth Lowers, if you use Amazon, it's as easy three clicks to allow the CCEF to benefit from dollars you spend online.

The funds from the Amazon Smile program will go to things like the teacher grants, which will be awarded soon by the CCEF. Lowers explains their teacher grants provide in-classroom opportunities for the students of the Clinton school district.

Funds the CCEF also distributes go towards scholarships and an end of the year academic banquet is furnished by the Foundation.
