Miller Park Zoo To Host Informational Meeting For Potential Volunteers

A local zoo is giving area residents an opportunity to learn more about what it would be like to volunteer with them.

The Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington is giving anyone who might be interested in volunteering with the zoo to get more information. Jay Tetzloff is the Zoo's Superintendent, he says they are seeking anyone with a variety of skill sets.

To be a part of the volunteer base, Tetzloff says they are seeking adult volunteers, so you have to be at least 18 years old. He notes being a volunteer is different from their junior zookeeper program.
