Clinton Save-A-Lot Construction Begins

About a month after the formal ground breaking, the backhoe began digging the footings this week for what will be the new Clinton Save-A-Lot store at the corner of Monroe and Washington Streets.

Store owner Dave Jackson told Regional Radio News that construction began on Wednesday of this week.

Jackson added that footings have been dug.

The new 18-thousand square foot store is expected to be open late this fall.
