Without a state budget approved, Rauner says he not happy with Speaker Mike Madigan’s plan to work just one day a week in Springfield for the month of June.

Rauner once suggested the special sessions never really accomplished much and even floated the idea of paying for one himself.

Madigan notes the House has been in continuous session since the last budget bill didn’t get done in 2015.
