This Monday morning, Clinton Public Works crews will be starting a resurfacing of several areas of the community.
Because of that, they are asking residents to not park in the areas they will be working.
The areas effected are Elm Street from White Street to Main Street, Jackson Street from Main Street to Washington Street, and Washington Street from Alexander Street to Illinois Route 54.
The milling process will begin Monday and authorities expect things to last about a week, weather permitting.
Following the milling a hot asphalt mix will be laid.
A flagman will be stationed in those areas during the work, and again residents are asked not to park on the street in those areas.
