NOW THAT ILLINOIS HAS A PLAN TO GET THROUGH THE END OF THE CALENDAR YEAR…GOVERNOR BRUCE RAUNER SAYS THE NEXT STEP IS TO NEGOTIATE A GRAND COMPROMISE BETWEEN NOVEMBER AND JANUARY. 
 
GOVERNOR RAUNER SAYS AFTER THE NOVEMBER EIGHTH ELECTION…IT’S TIME TO WORK OUT A DEAL FOR A FULL, BALANCED BUDGET AND SOME OF HIS PROPOSED REFORMS.
 
 
HOUSE SPEAKER MIKE MADIGAN IS REITERATING HIS VIEW THAT THE GOVERNOR’S REFORMS SHOULDN’T BE TIED TO PASSAGE OF A STATE BUDGET.
 
 
RAUNER SAYS HE IS STICKING BY HIS PREVIOUS REQUIREMENTS…THAT HE WILL NOT SIGN A BUDGET THAT IS OUT OF BALANCE…AND WON’T APPROVE A TAX INCREASE WITHOUT PASSAGE OF THINGS LIKE WORKER’S COMPENSATION AND OTHER BUSINESS REFORMS.
