Technology in Blue Ridge District Drawing Attention

The technology program in the Blue Ridge school district is drawing the attention at a state and national level.

According to Superintendent Susan Wilson, the technology program in their district is over 20 years old and the Center for Digital Education is applauding the program for it's innovation.

Blue Ridge will send students to Springfield to showcase the things happening with technology in the district before passing lawmakers.

Wilson calls the recognition much deserved. She says this is something the district has excelled at longer than she has been in the district.

The district received their awards from the Center for Digital Education in March.
