The co-assistant fire chief on the Clinton Fire Department has resigned.
Jason Karr (right) tells Regional Radio News he put in his resignation last week to Clinton Commissioner of Health and Safety Dan Ballenger.
Karr has served on the Department since 1995 holding ranks from fire fighter to assistant chief.
Karr indicates he will continue to serve in a part time capacity with the Wapella Fire Department.
Commissioner Dan Ballenger declined comment.
