Leadership Change on the Way for Senate Republicans

The leadership of the Republican Party at the state house is turning over.

Senate Minority Leader Christine Radogno, a Senator from the 41st district, is going to resign on July 1.

In a statement she quote- “leaves political office with a sense of sadness and some disappointment, I leave with no regrets. I did my best – that’s all I could do.”

Radogno says the Republican Caucus has already begun planning for a transition.
Published reports have Senators Bill Brady, Karen McConnaughey and Michael Connelly as the likely replacements to take over her leadership roll.
