The winter winds have been blowing in much of Illinois, but snow hasn’t been flying. That’s due to atmospheric conditions says RFD Radio Network meteorologist Dan Hicks with Freese-Notis Weather.
Hicks says heavy snowfall in the near term is only going to occur around the Great Lakes.
He says temperatures are expected be warmer in the 6-to-10 day outlook, but weather could be more active after that.
