In the latest tariffs announced by the Trump administration, the U.S. will be putting 10 percent on $200 billion in Chinese imported goods. That new tariff will grow to 25 percent in 2019. China has since announced tariffs on $60 billion of American made goods, including meat, alcoholic drinks, chemicals, machinery, and auto parts. Kelly is looking to unseat incumbent Mike Bost in November’s election. Bost has held the 12th district house seat since 2015.
