Mendoza seeking re-election as Illinois Comptroller

Asked to describe her two years in office as Illinois Comptroller, Susana Mendoza used the words “truth telling fiscal watchdog”. She was elected to fill out the remaining two-year term of the late Judy Baar-Topinka in 2016 and is now seeking a four year term in office.

Before serving as Comptroller, Mendoza spent time as a state legislator and Chicago City Clerk. She is being challenged by Republican Darlene Senger.
