The Vault in Clinton has been busy planning fundraisers to help support the new 501(c)3 organization.
One of the fundraisers is the Harlem Wizards. The Wizards are a show basketball entity delivering wildly successful fundraiser events for schools and nonprofits, last season alone playing in over 400 communities across the USA while raising over $2 million.
Michelle Witzke and Fundraising Committee Coordinator Mandi Ries (Reese) talked with Regional Radio News about the event coming to Clinton and why they looked at bringing in the Harlem Wizards...
The Wizards will be coming to play basketball against the Vault's team that they created from 25 of Clinton local teachers called the Vault All-Stars.
Wiztke talked about how the event is something for all ages to enjoy.
Reese mentioned that the Vault's 5 to 6 best players will play a quarter against the Wizards competitively.
The Harlem Wizards will take on The Vault All-Stars on October 22nd. The game will be hosted at the Clinton Community High School with the tip-off starting at 6:30 pm. Tickets are available online at www.harlemwizards.com. Online tickets will be available till 11:59 pm the night prior to the game.
