Autumn Celebration Sugar Grove Nature Center Oct. 20th

The weather has been getting colder, leaves starting to change colors add those up and it comes out to fall is here. Now that fall is here we get closer to Sugar Grove Nature Center's annual celebration of the Autumn Celebration.

Environmental Educator Jill Wallace said it is a fun fall family activity to explore different booths showing off handmade, nature-inspired items. Watch a blacksmith at work and woodturners demonstrate their skills.  Indulge in seasonal favorites like apple cider and caramel apples.  Roast marshmallows at the campfire, tour the Sugar Grove Observatory and explore over 7 miles of hiking trails. Guests will also enjoy live music at the celebration.

One new attraction that will be coming to the festival is ribeyes...

Another new attraction Wallace said that will be out at the celebration is pony rides.

The Autumn Celebration will be Saturday, October 20th from 10 am to 4 pm. You can find more information on the event at www.sugargrovenaturecenter.org.
