Flu shots have kicked off now, some hospitals starting them around 30 days ago some even earlier. 

Warner Hospital and Health Services have given out many flu shots to the community. CEO Paul Skowron wanted to remind everyone that flu shots are one of those preventative maintenance tasks you should do to take care of your health.

Skowron referred preventative maintenance as looking at a car, don't wait till it is too late and what could end up costing you more in the long run.

Warner Hospital also helps with quitting smoking; they offer smoking cessation classes.

DeWitt County is one of the highest for lung cancer, and that all comes back to that preventative maintenance says, Skowron.

Skowron and the Hospital want all to think of that preventative maintenance and check in to the walk-in clinic if you ever want to check on your well being.
