The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will host a number of activities on Martin Luther King Day. The slain civil rights leader called Lincoln’s emancipation proclamation a “great beacon light of hope” so museum spokesperson Chris Wills says their place is an ideal location to honor King’s work.

Historical interpreters will be on hand and free admission for any not for profit group that is prescheduled with the museum.
