Political public affairs channel C-Span is filming in Springfield this week, with a focus on authors and the Capital City's history.
C-Span's Ashley Hill says the channel is keeping up with the times by taking a page from CBS late night host James Corden....
C-Span will interview Governor J.B. Pritzker and visit the Illinois State Capitol, Old State Capitol, Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum, and landmarks from the 1908 Springfield Race Riot. The filmed segments will air February 16th and 17th during a special feature Springfield weekend.
